Does anyone know why Foredom quit making Flexible Shaft Machine
Series EE? It is a very dependable and easy to use machine. I am
looking to purchase one-any help in finding one would be
appreciated. Also, the Instructor at the jewelry school that I attend
(OSU-Okmulgee, OK) would like to purchase approximately 20 for the
classroom. Please e-mail Foredom at www.foredom and ask them to
retool and make them as they are the smoothest machine , that
doesn’t jump around for new jewelers to use. Maybe you can help us
obtain some. Thanks.
Attn. Jane Regarding your question about the EE motors. The motor
and the gear head for the EE is still made and available. We use
these High Torque motors with 3:1 speed for Engraving and Hammer
hand pieces. We have these motors available with or without handpiece
at the following prices.

Don’t know what he is talking about but the Foredom EE Motor is
obsolete and has been for years. This person may be selling used
motors. Be sure to have him clarify. If they are new they would be
old and have been sitting on a shelf. Foredom doesn’t have any of
these and the only parts they have available are the shaft, sheath,
and brushes.
If Kenneth is selling new and they have not been setting on a shelf
the items they are not made by Foredom. We are a Foredom distributor
and have contacted Foredom about this.
By the way has anyone seen the new Foredom Soff Jaws? They’re great
for holding onto items in your vise without leaving any marks and
they are less than $10. For more info contact me. We are selling them
