I think I read some time ago that there was a cable that Foredom had
that was made out of a different material than their standard cable.
The post mentioned that this cable was more flexible than Foredom’s
standard cable.
I believe I had one of these more flexible cables. The flexible
cable that I had was like a snake when the tool got caught in the
work.
I use my Fordoms to turn wax. There are times when the tool catches
in the wax and when it does the flexible cable whips all over the
place. In fact one cable I had was totally destroyed because the
tool caught in what I was working on.
I would not recommend not using the more flexible cable if you use
the tool where it could get caught in your work.
