This May 16th thru the 20th another group I belong to “Aspiring
metalsmiths” are having a gathering to learn some new skill sets. I
thought I had instructors lined up and committed. But alas some
commitments fell trough. So with your help here I thought I would be
able to solicit some instructors or at least get some names of
instructors willing to (for a fee of course) teach. This Gathering
will take place in Saint Petersburg, FL. We will have the use of the
jewelry facilities at the Morean Arts Center on Central Ave. The
skills of those attending are of a vary wide range as well as the
interests of what it is we would like to improve upon or learn as
new! Some of the requests have been for fold forming, the use of the
hydraulic press, micro folding, torch enameling, flush setting and
advanced stone setting and clasps or hollow forms.

I just finished day 5 at Jewelry Studies International in Austin, Tx!
What awonderful experience. Ronda Coryell and Vasken Tanielian are
excellent instructors and they went above and beyond teaching the
class. The class was rings in Argentium. It was my first time working
with Argentium and I love it!! I will definitely take more classes
with Ronda and Vasken.
I want to thank all those that responded to my request for
instructors. It was overwhelming the talents that were offered. I
have filled all the workshop slots and will be doing this again next
year. Again a big THANK YOU to you all!!!
