Last month several people expressed interest in ‘seamless fine
silver tubing’. Apecs Investment Castings in Melbourne Australia is
currently supplying flute makers with seamless standard sterling
silver tubing of the following dimensions; 180mm long, 20mm O.D.
0.5mm wall thickness, weighing approximately 60 grams, with an
internally fitting tube of 19mm for the tuning section of the flute.
The fabrication price per tube is A$50 plus A$0.75 per gram for
standard sterling silver. Prices are ex factory Australia This can
also be made in fine silver, our firescale free 957 or any other
precious metals or alloys. Other sizes can be made as well. Smaller
tube may incur increased fabrication charges. Further may
