Fine silver residue on woven chain

Hi everyone.

Is there anything I can soak a woven chain in to get rid of the fine
silver residue that I have down the middle after pickling? I cannot
get to it with any type of polisher I have for the flex shaft. I’ve
hit all the external parts I can get to but I can still see the dull
residue.

Thanks

Make a rack to mantain straight your woven chain (use some wire to
attach it to the rack) and tumble with steel shot.

Hope these help.

Those recesses will darken anyway, so I’d suggest getting the jump
on Mother Nature and put on a patina, then buff off the surfaces.
Lately I’ve been doing that on some chains, and they are always the
first to sell!
