All, there were recently suggestions for using Museum Putty or
Museum Gel for holding pieces to photograph. Both those items - the
gel is clear as water and would be great and the putty is white -
can be found at The Container Store, along with a great many other
useful things.
Also, not all Nikon Coolpix cameras have come with the attachment
for copying slides - mine didn’t. However, one was promptly found at
Adorama in NYC, the one that Cindy got us the great discount in.
Thanks Cindy, for a great idea for all. Nikon doesn’t think there is
enough interest in the attachments to stock them most places, by the
way. We used the internet to track ours down. Adorama was
marvelous to do business with.
