Ferrari Rolling Mill

Orchidians,

While on vacation in Italy last month, I happened to find this
Ferrari rolling mill in a small used tool and equipment shop in
Florence. What can I say? I had to buy it and ship it back to my
studio in San Diego. This mill appears to be a “competition” model,
(of course), 120 mm wide, in Ferrari red, with black wrinkle-finished
transmission, racing gearbox, Teflon handle and with the familiar
Ferrari logo. Definately faster than stock…

Anyone want to race me??

See photos of my Ferrari mill at the link below.

I can’t believe someone else has a competition mill!!! I’m ready for
a race - Tucson in January? This is my mill my son bought for me a
few years back in Germany, they threw in an ingot mold w/ mine.

The Germans do very fine machine work, but in this case I’d go with
the Ferrari red.

They do… but everyone knows that for going fast and straight,
nothing beats a Corvette.
