[Favorite tips] Caring for Jewelry

#1

Be careful of customers’ jewelry while in your possession. Always
place it in the best safe you have. If robbed it is harder to
replace customer’s jewelry than your own inventory. Even if the
value is lower, the difficulty in finding suitable replacements adds
to the importance of caring for the jewelry. Brad Simon CMBJ

Brad, I also feel that two small safes are better than one large one.
When you need to upgrade to a larger safe, just add another smaller
one rather that trading in your old safe. It would be difficult
enough for someone to crack one safe, let alone two. Even if someone
did by-pass the alarm, it would be next to impossible to be cleaned
out by a robbery.
