[Favorite tips] A trick learned from an old chain maker

I think it is my turn to offer a little - and very simple - trick
which I learned from an old chain maker. Whenever you have a lot of
small findings, chain links etc. which you want to grab one at a
time with a pair of pliers or tweezers, place them on a piece of soft
leather, - makes it a lot easier to get a good grip in the item.
Simple, but quite efficient, and cheap. I use a little piece of a
leather jacket, and I think I’ll have leather for the next millenium
