Hi Jim,
When you mention “same section all the way around”, are you
referring to shanks with prong set stones. I can understand why the
stretcher I mentioned on this forum would not work on that type of
ring, or on a hollow ring, or on a ring with multiple stones set on
the shank, or…
Perhaps I should have provided a general description of my ring
shanks. They are relatively wide; 16g sterling silver; one or two
stones bezel set on the outside of the ring shank near the top; and
one focal stone bezel set on the top. For this type of ring, the
stretcher I have used, and mentioned on this forum, has worked
beautifully.
