Hi All- Has anyone attended the MJSA Expo in the past? The next
show will be March 23-25, 1997 in New York City at the Show
Piers. Who exhibits and do they have a cash & carry section (like
the Fashion/Accessory Shows at Javits Center). If any have info,

Last year the MJSA Expo was a sort of retail “jamboree” with
stone vendors, pearls, and findings and chain manufacturers. All
will be eager to take your money, either cash and carry or via
special order. Although the Javits center has special rules
regarding sales during the show, you can still deal for the most
part. Also represented there will be several refinerys, as well
as some casting houses offering their “own” line of jewelry (I
don’t think they’re really their own, do you?) I think it’s going
to be at Javits again this year, but I don’t know for sure 'cause
I don’t have my info packet yet.

Tim,

According to JCK, the Expo is at the Passenger Ship Terminal in
NY, March 23-25 and at the Rhode Island Convention Center in
Providence, April 6-8. Buyers can call (401)274-3840 or fax(401)
274-0265 for info.

I guess I’ll have to find out where that is. I live here, but
there’s still a few places I’ve never been.
