Experience with Metal Magic 32

I ran across a booklet by James V. Stevens, published in 1978,
called, “The Art and Science of Automated Jewelry Finishing.” Stevens
recommends adding something called Metal Magic 32 to the burnishing
cycle.

I’m interested in this product; does anyone use it? Or have
experience with it? I found what I believe is the manufacturer’s web
site, but no retail outlets.

Any info would be much appreciated.

I have that booklet tucked away somewhere—.

Metal Magic is/was just a burnishing soap that he liked and was
mainstream at the time. It worked very well, especially at keeping
steel shot clean… There are many on the market now - I’d say just
get a good one, don’t strain yourself about getting Metal Magic in
particular…
