David,

European sizes tend to be in circumference length, usuallu from 37
mm and up, in Ireland and the UK we use letters A to Z and upwards
Z+1, Z+2 etc. yopr size (13) is probably a Swiss size which
translates to a 6 1/2 in American, 53 in European and an M1/2 in
Ireland/UK.

Alan Revere’s book “Ring Repair” has a useful comparison chart of
all the international ring sizes on pages 118 & 119. (very nice book,
worth having). Hope this helps,

Dear David Duhne

Can somebody please tell me what is the equivalent of the No
13 of an European ring sizer (Spain) to an american measure?

Nope, but you can measure it out yourself. A South European No. 13
ring equals a North European No. 53 ring, which simply means that
the inner circumference is 53 mm. So just grab a ruler with
millimetres and measure 53 mm on a piece of paper, cut it out and
compare it to your american measure.

Some times life is a lot easier here on our side of the pond.
