Does anyone have knowledge as to whether or not european jewelry
markings are accepted in the US? A makers trademark stamp and .585,
.750, .999 on gold and .925, .999 for silver, etc. are accepted in
several countries here via bilateral agreements. The markings 14K,
18k, 22K, 24K are not accepted generally as legal markings.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
