Etching Palladium?

I’ve been asked about making wedding rings in palladium with etched
decoration- any advice on what acid to use as a mordant, and how
successful this might be? I use aqua regia for etching gold, will
this work on palladium?

Aqua regia will work on palladium and also on platinum
