I’ve had lots of emails asking about the etching on the CD Angel
ornament that taught us how to work with a jeweler’s saw. It’s not
etched (creative journalism in action), but engraved with an ordinary
scribe. CD material is very soft, and even a needle would work to
add some ornament. eBay bid for this silly thing is now over $100…
good grief. I hope it inspires some other projects to keep those
disks out of the landfill. (PS If you want the instructions for this
