Is chrysoprase can be enhancement?
How to enhance the chrysoprase?

How to judge whether a chrysoprase stone was already enhanced or not?

The natural colouring of chrysoprase ranges from white to apple green, mostly
opaque to translucent, with some of the most intensely coloured pieces coming
out of Marlborough, Queensland, Australia. Some pieces have white “wormholes”,
which could detract from the piece depending on your perspective and how large a
piece you’re looking to facet/cab.

I’ve never heard of chrysoprase being enhanced - didn’t think it was possible.
Chrysoprase is a form of chalcedony, and I’ve never heard of chalcedony
enhancement either.

Sorry I can’t help, but maybe someone else on the list has more info.

Hi,

Enhancement and dye of chalcedony is a fairly new process. The ancient
Greeks were the first to record methods of doing it, but they were not the
first. The methods used in even more ancient Egypt were secret.

Ever hear of black or green onyx? These are trade names for died chalcedony.

What did it die of?

Black onyx is also found naturally, not just dyed.
