Enamelling on gold and silver

g’day Phil One of your country-women Elizabeth Fraser-Davies produced
an excellent manual for the beginning enameller “The Enamellist’s
Handbook” (see below)

Get hold of the following books - the Thompson Enamel Co in the US
(link below) carries all of them as well as all possible supplies and
tools, and handles internet orders . (I’ve no affiliation with them).

1/ Thompson Enamel Workbook by Woodrow Carpenter, Bill Helwig and
Tom Ellis, 1997 40 Pages (b&w drawings and illustrations) soft cover.

2/ Beginners Enameling Course by Woodrow Carpenter, 1981

3/ The Enamellist’s Handbook by Elizabeth and Colin Fraser-Davies
(great book - bit more useful meat in it than most)

4/ First Steps in Enameling by Jinks McGrath, 96 pages, full
color, hard cover. (great pictures, very esy to understand, all tool
etc shown.

These articles in eNAMeL Online Newsletter should also be of use.
