Enamelling advise - firescale-free sterling

Since we’re on the subject of enamelling in general, Has anyone
tried to enamel on the firescale-free sterling? I would guess that
it’s similar to fine silver, but am not sure.

or one thing, it will melt lower than fine silver, and though it may
not form the copper oxides of sterling, it does have other componants
which may affect an enamel. Why not call United Precious metals,
(800) 999-FINE, and ask them. They’re pretty helpful folks, and I’d
rather expect them to know whether their alloys (there are several
versions) are compatible with enamels.
