For years I’ve been using a kiln that I got from Alpha Supply at the
Tucson show. I think it may have been designed for wax burn-out –
but it’s a great front loader, and I use it entirely for enameling
now. It’s called the Satellite Oven (J-100-SX) C0236. You can
find it on page 173 of the online catalog for Alpha Supply Co. It
think it runs about $345, which is far cheaper than Paragon, etc.
It’s nothing super fancy – just a good little work horse. They
also have another one which is a little larger I think (J200) also
