Can anyone give me on enameled rings, how it’s done
etc.? thank you Bob Goll

Doesn’t the enamel want to run down?

Bob, could you be a little more specific? Do you want to do an
enamel inlay, set an enamelled piece in a ring or enamel all the
way around the ring. Do you want to do it quick and easy with
epoxy or traditionally with a kiln. Let me know and I’ll try
and help you out.

I’m not the enamelist in the studio, but I understand there are
materials that help adhere the enamel to curved surfaces. Lucy
has restored several 18k enameled rings that were battered- the
colors matched and they looked new. Thompson Enamel Co may be a
place to start for supplies, though Lucy raves about a japanese
enamel brand that she prefers.
