[Enamel Bits] Mounting enamels

#1

Does anyone know where to buy wooden frames to put enamels in
– I’m thinking of the size made for ceramic tiles used as
trivets.

G’day, Elaine; If you lived anywhere near me, I’d offer to
make you something. If you want circular frames, or square with
circular depressions I would suggest you get on to a wood turner.
If it is simply square, or rectangular thingies you want, get on
to a general woodworker. An amateur would probably do just as
good a job as a professional - and take a pride in it. So, I’m
sure you have a woodworker’s Club in your area. Try your local
phone book or yellow pages or local register of clubs - a good
Information Centre or Citizen’s Advice Bureau (Do you have them?)
would put you right. Hope you get what you want. Cheers,
