i will be spending the winter (nov.-march) in southeast asia, and
i’m looking for educational opportunities regarding metalsmithing
and/or gemology, preferrably in bangkok. GIA only has a masters in
diamonds program available, and that’s a bit over my head, since
i’m mostly interested in ruby and sapphire. also we will be at the

I highly recommend Asian Institute of Gemological Sciences (AIGS) in
Bankok. They have short term and longer courses. They know what
they’re doing and they impart their knowledge very effectively.
