How to put edge of wire on bracelet

Saw your bracelet out about bigger than you want it first. Then solder the wire on in the correct outline. Then saw the unwanted edge off.
It’s much easier than trying to fit your wire accurately to the finished bracelet.

do I wrap wire with another piece around bracelet to hold while soldering?
