Unfortunately it’s not just one overseas (China) ebay seller with
fake silver illegally marked 925. This exact thing happened to me
years ago although the price discrepancy was not as wide then due to
the relatively low price of silver. Several returned my money but
there was the ONE who got away with it. I filed all complaints
through ebay and paypal and eventually returned the stuff at my cost
per his request just to prove a point. Well, guess what? He claimed
he never received it and after a prolonged search initiated by the
USPS I eventually gave up. For some, crime does pay but I certainly
wish him a lifetime of sleepless nights.
