Richard and Rose,
There is a product I use to clean the bottom of the copper coated
cooking pots when I do the dinner dishes. It is available in powder
form for the kitchen as well as liquid for the shop. I have used the
liquid on fire scale by patting it gently not rubbing as it seems to
be very gritty.
