I am presently working on a project that will encompass well over
210 carats of diamonds. To put it another way, 2,100 diamonds. When
finished, these little collection of items will be almost 1/2kilo of
gold weight.
Remember folks, don’t think small!!!
Why put all of your brain power into one little ring, think & force
yourself to go & sell your idea to those 1% of the population. I
know it’s easier said than done, but think outside of the box!
Jewellery is not only a ring or pendant, it can be a carving, statue
or even a ‘fun’ item (this is what mine is).
Enjoy your new bench-career in creating things, no one has done
before…
Sorry for my little rambling, but you all know me for my lateral
ways of thinking Gerry Lewy.
I have not made any items to date. The only thing I have done on this
large project is to ‘guess-timate’. There is not cost on that, I
wanted to know how much & the number of carats that will be used.
Nothing has been bought or created. Many of my 107 items in my line
are still in the wax-carved stages. But I will cast 3-4 of this new
project into s/s for ‘display purposes only’. These are just for my
salesman.
Don’t want any ‘live’ gold items running around the country, or being
stolen!!..:> (It’s a lot safer that way, agree?
