Does Argentium Sterling Contain Copper?

The recent Rio Grande Artisan’s Quarterly - Summer 2007 - says:

Germanium, if alloyed with silver (in place of
oxygen-vulnerable copper) might create a sterling that could
drastically reduce tarnish and firescale …

Is it true that there is NO COPPER in Argentium, just silver and
germanium (and maybe some other proprietary metals)?

Whoops - I fear we made an error. Argentium uses Germanium to
replace SOME copper; but certainly doesn’t replace all copper. I
apologize for the error. As the Manager of this area, I should have
caught this before it went to print. So the egg belongs on my face.

Again, my apologies for this mistake.
