You didn’t state what type of juried show you applied for, but my
guess is that they were trying to bring the price of your piece of
jewelry down to a level that their show buyers could afford. Just a
thought. At most shows these days, I see pendants on cords. I don’t
think it had anything to do with them not liking your silver chain.
