Disposing of liver of sulpher

Hi all,

I would like to know about the proper way to dispose of liver of
sulphur. After checking the archives and searching for answers
online, I have heard many conflicting opinions from pouring it down
the drain after adding baking soda, to taking it to a hazardous waste
collection center. I want tobe sure I don’t cause long term damage to
our plumbing, but I also want to make sure I am not damaging the
environment by discarding it where itcould harm something or someone.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Just throw it in the garbage. It will do less damage as solid waste
than it would in the water system.
