Dishwasher for cleaning hand polished pieces

To all the jeweler cleaners out there,

In the old days the polishing departments used a “boil out pot”.

This is a stainless steel soup kettle with boiling water and Tide
Laundry Detergent. I set it up on a one or two burner portable
electric stove top.

Tide is a great grease cutter. Boiling generates the right amount of
heat to melt the wax and grease based compounds right off.

Following that the ultrasonic and steam step take a lot less time.

Old school is good school.
