Hello All. I am the jeweler in my family but my husband would like
to start taking digital pictures of my work (which would of course
save me a lot of money). We were wondering if anyone can recommend
any books or especially classes that might cover photographing
jewelry. We are in the NY area but he would travel if there was a
workshop on the subject. Any ideas? Info? Suggestions? Thanks!
Small Scale Photography_ by Charles Lewton Brain is a great book on
photographing jewelry, and comes with a videocassette. It is not
specifically about digital, but all of the info about lighting,
compositon, building a drop shadow box, etc applies. Small Scale
Photography is available from Brain Press.
