Different strokes

I think that most members of the Orchid community came aboard because
of Disagreement and personality conflict is built into the system, I
think, and that isn’t bad in my book. It provides a catalyst and
scaffold for discussion.

I think that people become invested in the way that they do things,
myself included. When others disagree or challenge an idea or
perception or share experiences that in some way refute another
member’s it can ruffle feathers.

That’s only natural.

We all do things differently and we all process in
different ways. We can state our case firmly, defend our observations
and (even vehemently) reject another’s point of view. But we can and
should remain civil and express our disagreement without rancor and
anger.
