Speaking of robberies…this one sounds like a movie. …and
considering where I live, it probably will be one soon. The article is
about an attempted diamond theft. it would have been the largest theft
of its kind had it succeeded. Go to:

for the story. It sounds wild, but in Los Angeles a year or so ago,
two diamond (or pearl ,…sorry…don’t remember which), dealers in a
taxi were forced to the side of the road on a crowded freeway and
robbed of $2,000,000 in goods. I thought it amazing how the police in
England handled this one.
