That’s great Barbara…you’re very welcome.

Just received some silvered ivory glass cabs from Glassy Fields. Pretty nice. Thanks for the connection.

Glad you like them lon. Carol told me she got all excited with making the silvered ivory and decided to branch out with some other silvered colors. I can’t wait to see how they came out!
So I mentioned before that I couldn’t decide whether to go with a plain band with this last cuttlebone pour or add a small round variscite, well, neither! The cuttlebone band was too chunky so I went with a larger piece of Hubei and ended up making a separate band for the variscite. All for the better i think
Ok. I’m intrigued. I’ve never heard of Castellation. Is it that cool bezel you had in the first piece? Please explain!
I love cuttle fish casting, too. The textures are amazing. I’ve made bails and beads out of strips. Thanks for the glass info too!
Hi Jane! I fell in love with the look of a heavy castellated bezel for certain pieces. I use the BezelEase from Pepetools. Both of the pictures from the post have castellated bezels. when you’re using bezels that are 1mm and thicker, they can be a little tricky to set, but well worth the effort.
