special order shaped grinding wheels to cut bullet shape stones on a

HMmmmm. Not sure what your requirement is. Sounds like you want a
simple preformer template…See Graves Lapidary, or look in the Lap
Journal for other manufacturers who make preformers. The diamond
wheels are not normally made to cut a preform…the preformer is used
to do it. That doesn’t mean such a wheel cannot be made but it might
get pretty complicated and cost lots of dinaros. Cheers from Don at

While it will be good to have specialized wheels (will be costly
too) for making bullets the job can be done using flat diamond laps
that are freely available.

I do volumes of it all the time at my two lapidaries, located in Sri
Lanka, employing cabbing machines using flat diamond laps. In fact
by using flat laps on a cabbing machine quite a lot of shapes can be
done.
