“Snap closure” is not terribly specific.
As Mr. Brennan said, we will need a photo to know what, if anything, can be done.

here’s images of the 2 halves

I think this type of thing is held by two wire spring elements on either side of the backside. Maybe one of those wire springs isn’t activating? Could you use a needle or something similar and try to bend it back toward the middle so that it tightens up?

I’m trying to figure this out and can’t tell from the picture. Does the back come off like some kind of clutch? Or is each cuff link just one piece? If the back comes off, can you please shoot a quick image with the back off and showing both components?

Thanks!
Jeff

yes, clutch like-if you check out the photos above-2 pieces- top pic shows the the male piece the bottom shows the female

What I can’t see is how thick the part that goes into the cuff is. Can you just replace the part with a clutch style pin back? My guess is that the clutch is too complicated or impossible to repair and needs to be replaced with a comparable part.

now that i have these in hand, i can see the the knob section is bent.the ball, disc, and
shaft seem to rotate on a rod extending up from the decorative octagon

the springs in the other half that hold it seem to be in good shape.
don’t know if i should try to straighten. the design seems to safely hold the links in the cuff, even if they come unfastened
