Does anyone know how to create a crystallized surface texture in
silver or gold ? It looks like snowflake crystals covering the
entire surface of the metal. Have seen it only a few times in some
accidental castings, wherein certain sections had this crystallized
patterns. It would be great if one could produce such texture at
will.
You can do it buy continues enriching of gold. prefer 22 k. the more
you do it the more you get.

JJA, You can create a crystalized surface on 24k gold by using an
electrostripper. The stipper will not effect platinum. This opens up
all sorts of design possibilities. Have fun. Tom Arnold
