I just bought a 995 instead of a 5000 for similar work. I use the
Imagedome from Gemvision & it was their contention that the 995 would
do everything you would want for the type of work you are suggesting.
I bought mine on the Internet for $500 including shipping this Month.
The 5000 will be around $900-1000 also on the Internet. The 995 is
very easy to use, but I have had experience with digitals before.
