darcy - have not followed this thread before but if the design allows,
why not try what your television color picture tube does: frame each
color with black: oxidize a silver strip (or wire) & frame/wrap the
gold component(s); with only the strip edge showing it shouldn’t be
distracting & it will still set apart the two materials visually -
adds a little punch! good luck -
