Coning Block

Hi, I just read a tutorial on making a crown collet. The author is
using what he calls a coning block.

I’ve looked and cannot find a source for these coning blocks. Can
someone point me in the right direction?

Debra,

You could try looking for a collet block and punch. Bear in mind that
the punches and blocks will come in a range of angles but you can
also get a block with about 4 different angles and corresponding
punches.

Another name is bezel block.

They are called bezel blocks and Otto Frei (among other suppliers)
carries them.
