Combining bronze and 22 k gold

I have been looking at for some time examples of bronze jewelry that
has been either coated or fused with 22 k gold. on one side and
nicely done in a patina on the bronze side. Just wondered if anyone
can tell me what the process is for applying 22 k gold to bronze ?
I’ve heard that there are some companies that fuse 22k to sterling
silver but am wondering about bronze and how it is currently being
done and how pricey it might be ?

Thanks

Someone once mentioned to me that keum-boo could be applied to
various metals, including bronze. Perhaps that was what you saw? Any
keum-boo workers want to add to this, pro or con?

I’ve had limited success on both bronze and copper. Nothing easy
about it… two steps forward, two and one half back in most cases.
For my next efforts (if and when) it might be reasonable to try with
a shielding gas such as argon. Oxidation of the base is the main
impediment to success.
