Just another thread to ponder. You all probably don’t have a
compressor and airbrush, BUT! What I use is a slurry of powdered
walnut shells, through the airbrush, you wouldn’t believe how
clean in the tinyest places you can get. All the polishing
compound investment material you name it, and the walnut shells
are soft enough not to damage any finish or stone. Walnut shells
are available through sandblasting equipment suppliers. Works for
cleaning, but not polishing. Pat DIACCA Topp
