I have a few half-drilled moonstones I got from India. They are oiled
and I can’t seem to get the oil out. Should I use a stronger chemical
(i.e. acetone?) in the drill hole? I am a bit afraid to do so because
moonstone is fragile. The glue doesn’t stick- it all comes out
because of the oil along with the setting.
