Characteristics of Argentium Sterling Silver

The latest SNAG news letter contains a paper by Cynthia Eid on the
characteristics of Argentium(RTM) sterling silver. I think that
everyone interested in metals should make every effort to read this
paper. Cynthia has produced an excellent comprehensive scholarly
piece of work! The paper is well written with descriptions of the
working, chemical and physical characteristics of the alloy along
with the history of its development. She has given numerous tips on
how to successfully employ the alloy. Cynthia’s paper will be of
immense value to us all as we explore our individual needs in
utilizing the unique properties of Argentium(RTM) sterling silver. I
suggest we owe the author a big thank you for a job very well done.

Note: I am using (RTM) in lieu of the registered trade mark symbol of
R in a circle since the symbol is not available on this e-mail
program. I fully understand the alloy owners concern regarding
possible degradation of their trademark.
