Chain making by Stark?

#1

Hello, I was silly and accidentally erased the message by a
person who was saying they were using a book by someone named
Stark on chain making. Please, tell me more!

Here’s the info pulled off amazon.com’s website:

Classical Loop-In-Loop Chains : And Their Derivatives
by Jean Reist Stark, Josephine Reist Smith
List: $44.95
Our Price: $44.95
Paperback
Published by Chapman & Hall
Publication date: December 1996
ISBN: 0412078813

It’s listed at the Barnes and Noble website as $39.95.

I highly recommend it. There are detailed instructions for
making 30-40 chains and about 8 clasps. The instructions have
numerous detailed drawing so they’re a cinch to follow.

The book is : Classical Loop-In-Loop Chains (and their
derivatives) By Jean Stark and Josephine Smith published by
Chapman & Hall 115 5th Ave., NYC 10003
Website: http://www.thomson.com
E-mail: findit@kiosk.thomson.com

This is a fantastic book - easy to follow and understand. I
bought it directly from Jean Stark while taking a workshop from
her at Wildacres, NC. She’s a great teacher as well as a
wonderful person. I’d advise anyone who can to take workshops
from her! She also occasionally teaches one in Clasps and
Terminations - I also took that one!! Gini
