Casting without porosity

Can we have casting without porosity in silver & 10K,14K, 18K gold?

Hi Umesh,

No pin holes and a good surface for sterling, 90/10 bronze, 80/20
bell metal and plenty of good ingots at home.

Commercially sterling, and silicon bronze, no pin holes and a
surface just needing a polish. I’m aiming to get 18k gold done before
the end of the year, I’ll let you know if the casting house is up to
standard with this.

Yes. Make sure you’re mixing your investment exactly as directed. It
should seem almost too thick. Too watery investment will cause
porosity in your cast metal. I don’t know why.
