Casting story

I use Everdur. I pour ingots, forge, weld and hot bend it to make
belt buckles. It bends when hot like steel (I make the same buckle
in each metal). It is a bit “hot short” and may crack if pushed too
far or fast or heated to high when bending but it is not anywhere
near common enough to get in the way. It is not-- by any stretch of
my imagination --fragile when hot.

It does, of course, cast beautifully as well.

Take care,
Andy

is a cool-looking book. My casting bombs were about 2" across, but in
time I will try bigger items and I’ll read your book.
