Hello,
I’m trying to cast 14k gold beads in cuttlefish molds. It worked out
beautifully in fine silver, but the gold doesn’t seem to have as
striking a pattern. Is it because of the grain of the cuttlefish bone
- some have finer pattern than others - and should I keep casting
until I get the results I want or is the 14k gold not particularly
adapted for this?
