Hi All, Dave mentioned making a mold frame using pipe. I have used
four pieces of 1" x 2" wood cut to a length of 4 "and a base of
masonite or glass. The four pieces of wood can be adjusted to any
size up to about 4 inches as follows:

The size of the mold can be varied by moving the blocks apart of
closer. I use modeling clay in the corners to seal the joints and
clay on the outside to secure the blocks.
This type of mold works great for any cold type of mold compound. I
am sure, as talented as orchid members are, this process may not be
new. Maybe some of the new members might find it helpful. Your
